Here are two new projects that I have started over the Thanksgiving break. I really like the idea of mixing yarns of two different textures together. The brown will be a scarf and the blue, green and white will be a blanket for my little JellyBean.
Notes and updates regarding my misadventures in Knitting while "Finding Myself" as a new Librarian.

New News: The JellyBean
Ok. I went ahead and snatched out that messed up row on the sock. I also decided to take a picture of a few of my favorite scarves that I have completed.
Yes, the middle one is tubular and I actually did it on purpose. That is the scarf that I use the most at work. The tube is perfect because it does not fall off and does not get in the way.
Oh yes!!! I have a new Godson. He is Too CUTE!!! See...
I forgot...
Okay, so I decided to stay on campus for the holidays this year. I am simply too tired. I do not want to deal with anyone. No one seems to understand that. I have people around me all day everyday so when I have the opportunity to be alone and simply enjoy some downtime, I am going to take it. I am grooving to my maxwell cds and trying to figure out where I left off with the sock I started this summer. I think that I messed it up but I do not think that I am willing to snatch it out just yet. We will see...

Final Decision...So Far
I am so NOT going to be an academic librarian. NO NO NO!! I refuse. I want to be in a PUBLIC library!! I want to be able to discuss the things that I LIKE to read with my patrons. Not some dang article on who knows what...I do NOT want to write GRANTS and argue about who brought the most money to the school.
Countdown/Happy Moment
I am SO glad that this semester is almost OVER. I am counting down the days until I will be able to knit again.
I was driving down the road, totally pissed off because I could only drive 35 miles an hour when I discovered a PANDA EXPRESS!!! I was SO excited. This is not really a big deal to most people, but it was a big huge deal to me because I did not know that they had them here in North Carolina. That is going to become my comfort food whenever I get homesick.
